    Capture and Reuse of Knowledge in ICT-based Decisional Environments

    Health care practitioners continually confront with a wide range of challenges, seeking to making difficult diagnoses, avoiding errors, ensuring highest quality, maximizing efficacy and reducing costs. Information technology has the potential to reduce clinical errors and to im-prove the decision making in the clinical milieu. This paper presents a pilot development of a clinical decision support systems (CDSS) entitled MEDIS that was designed to incorporate knowledge from heterogeneous environments with the purpose of increasing the efficiency and the quality of the decision making process, and reducing costs based on advances of in-formation technologies, especially under the impact of the transition towards the mobile space.     Knowledge is generated and accessed from heterogeneous spaces. The recent advances in in-formation technologies provide enhanced tools for improving the efficiency of knowledge-based decision support systems. The purpose of this paper is to present the frameworks for developing the optimal blend of technologies required in order to better the knowledge acquisition and reuse in large scale decision making environments. The authors present a case study in the field of clinical decision support systems based on emerging technologies.     APPROACHES TO REENGINEERING DIGITAL GAMES

    Research has highlighted Digital Games (DG)’ capacity to enhance skill and abilities through their persuasiveness and motivational appeal, which can support immersive, situated and user-centered experiences. DG development remains a challenge both in terms of costs and of the diverse range of advanced, multi-disciplinary expertise required to develop a DG. Developing DGs for such a complex domain as Mechanical Engineering (ME) to better equip engineering students to practice at the intersection of complex systems increases this challenge. An alternative to decrease costs is to capitalize on existing DGs. The paper analyzes opportunities for DG adaptation, in order to enable the reengineer of existing games to fit specific purposes and support knowledge transfer. The authors build upon current research and practices to construct an approach for adapting DG content. Two case studies are presented as a proof of concept to exemplify the different levels of the digital game reengineering process

    As a branch of medicine, psychiatry has developed in close connection with the fields of science in which the various philosophical conceptions have found wide resonance. The onset of depression is usually in young people and affects women more than men. The frequency of depression increases significantly with age. One in four women will receive treatment for depression at some point compared to one in ten men. We can consider that anxiety is a close link between the functions of biology and philosophy, the body and the mind, the sense of conservation and healthy thinking, and personality and education. While it is felt on a psychic level, it can be weighed scientifically, both quantitatively and qualitatively, at the molecular and physiological levels
